Tattoos will always be beautiful. Pisses me the fuck off when people wanna lecture me about how my tattoos will look (when I get them lol) when I get older, just shut the fuck up.

I’ve yet to get a tattoo due to insufficient funds. But when I do, it won’t be some half-arsed generic skull or arbitrary option within some catalogue. It will be something that will be imbued with meaning, something that I will wear with pride. As my body ages, the markings will age with me. People get tattoos for themselves, not for others. The meaning will always be there.

In an age of hollow aesthetics, tattoos shine as a beacon to beauty. Not because they temporarily soften the skin or make the hair growing from it shinier between washes. No. They are beautiful because they will always be there, aging as gracefully as the canvas they are painted upon.
